About the Podcast

The Centering Health Equity podcast features healthcare leaders at the forefront of advancing health equity. Each show features unique efforts to advance health inequity with a focus on  population health, culturally competent care and business sustainability based on quality, consumer experience and cost reduction. 

Maria Hernandez, President of Impact4Health and Duane Reynolds, Chief Health Equity Officer for Chartis will co-host a dynamic conversation with masterminds on the frontlines of field transformation. We’ll explore the new paradigm for health and healthcare which demands quality of care for all but particularly the most vulnerable populations in the nation. Each show is designed around key themes that are at the forefront of reducing health inequities: identifying vulnerable populations, reducing unconscious bias, providing culturally competent and patient centered care, and partnering with communities to address the social determinants of health.
